IDEAS Van returns
WE are pleased to report that the IDEAS (Indigenous Diabetes Eyes and Screening) Van will be returning to the IWC Health & Wellbeing Centre, 184 Barolin St, Bundaberg this Friday 10 August.
Our team is in contact with clients using this service and Bundaberg’s own Dr Isabel McLean will be providing treatment.
The IDEAS Van started coming to Bundaberg in 2016, to provide specialist treatment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at risk of developing eye issues, or even blindness, due to diabetes.
We are pleased to welcome the service back again. The last visit was on 16 February.
